2. Installation Tips & Site Selection - To get the best performance from your Solar Kit, consider panel placement. Install the solar panel where it gets full sunlight—ideally facing due North. Avoid shaded or obstructed areas, as this will reduce charging efficiency. It is important to keep the solar panel close to the power supply enclosure, and ensure the enclosure is within reach of your gate opener.
3. Choosing the Right Setup - Solar performance depends on your location, sunlight hours, and how often the gate is used. Some setups may need two solar panels for reliable operation—especially in areas with less sun or higher usage. During long periods of low sunlight, you may need to recharge the system using the AC charging adaptor (included).
